Who is Miss Entwisle?

Miss Entwisle

The Pride Leader of Room 17

My name is Cyndi Entwisle and I am very excited to start my first year of teaching with my fourth grade pack in room 17.

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in general sciences, chemical sciences, physical sciences, and endorsements in literature, mathematics, and social studies from Benedictine University in Lisle, IL. Helping children succeed is my number one goal. I believe that education is a necessity in everyone's life and I am excited to help you learn. My goal is to help you find the fun in learning and be excited about continuing on to the fifth grade! Never let anyone tell you that you can't do it, because I will show you that you can. I am here first and foremost, to be your teacher and your mentor. I will be here to guide you through this school year, but I will also be here to listen to your interests and concerns, as well as stay here if you need someone to come back to in the future!

One of my favorite things to do is to travel. In college, I studied in London, England and had the opportunity to travel all over England, Ireland, Amsterdam, Paris, Venice, Rome, and Poland. I enjoy road trips around the United States, too. I was born in Maine, so I love travelling back there and enjoying the mountains, trees, wildlife, and ocean. I have always loved animals! I have two cats and plan to get a dog soon. Dolphins and gorillas are my favorite animals at the zoo.

I also love to exercise; running, cycling, and bikram yoga are my favorite activities. I exercise so I can eat my favorite foods: chocolate, ice cream, and cheesecake! I love to take pictures of scenery, landscapes, buildings, wildlife, and people. I love to read! Nicholas Sparks is my favorite author.
